![]() ![]() Lore tomestones are the unlimited currency at level 60.There is no limit to the number of poetics you can earn, but you can only carry 2000 at a time. Other than that, Poetics have little use at level 60. These can be used to purchase i120 gear in Mor Dhona, and also some items that are a part of the Anima weapon quest at level 60. All the “A Realm Reborn” dungeons, trials, and raids will grant tomestones of Poetics. Poetics are tomestones that are awarded from level 50 content.As of patch 3.5, there are three main tomestone types. Tomestones: These currencies are the rewards for doing nearly any kind of instanced (and some non-instanced) combat content. The abbreviation “i120” is used to mean “a piece of gear of item level 120”. There are exceptions, but they aren’t particularly common. For simplicity’s sake, you can assume that a higher item level means a stronger item. Exceptions are things like green dungeon drops (the Foestriker’s Tabard, the Battlemage’s set, etc), which will have slightly higher item level than equip level. Most gear prior to level 50 has item level matching its equip level. Item Level: Every piece of gear, yes, even from the very beginning of the game, has an item level. Quickly, I’d like to introduce some terms to you that may not be intuitive, but are going to be thrown around a lot in the level 60 gameplay discussions. Not because those aren’t worthwhile activities – they definitely are! I just want to keep some kind of limit on the content of this guide. This is not a guide for crafting, gathering, roleplaying, housing, or PVP. I’ll be wordy and technical and pedantic, but always in the hopes of helping you fight through that overwhelming sense of “too much to do, /panic”. My goal here is to give you an idea of what order to travel through the amount of content that has accrued since HW first dropped. There are guides that are tl dr, fastest way to gear up to endgame. My goal here is to simply help you make a priority list and go through things one step at a time. If you’re anything like me, having so many options all at once is overwhelming and nerve-wracking. This is not a guide for how to do any content rather, it is meant to give you a reference list of what order to do things for a streamlined process. Welcome to Ishgard! This is a guide for new players who might be overwhelmed with the amount of content available in the Heavensward Expansion of Final Fantasy XIV. Keep in mind that while playing in this mode, characters are not rewarded with experience after taking out enemies.And Want To See Most of The Things, Or Maybe Everything In those modes, each enemy will have the same level when encounter. In this mode, you have the option to choose Weak and Strong Modes. Once you finish Stage 100, New Game+ Mode becomes available. To familiarize with the boss’ attack pattern, be sure to challenge it at level 99 to get a grip on how the AI behaves. This can seem incredibly difficult if you undertake Trial Mode underleveled, as the party will be vulnerable being wiped out before they even get a chance to read the opponent’s attack pattern. Stage 100 of Trial Mode pits you against the Archadian Judges, considered the most powerful bosses of Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age. Intended to be mixed and matched, be sure to adjust the Gambits to have your allies serve their individual purposes in the trial. If you can afford to consume MP, having Ally: Any = Raise can help conserve items. To make the most out of your party’s consumables, make sure to have Gambits assigned to your ally and set the top to be: Ally: Any = Phoenix Down to ensure that they remain in contact with their party immediately. Once you start Trial Mode, there is no turning back to replenish consumables. Proper role assignments are crucial to surviving the waves of enemies. This mode puts the player to the ultimate test as it gauges their performance. The best way to handle this is to cast Dispel to lift the effects of Reflect and safely follow up with the desired Magick. Whenever enemies are affected by Reflect, they can bounce back any Magick cast on them.
